Robnor Resins Exhibition Display

Robnor Resins exhibited at the Southern Manufacturing Exhibition in February 2013. They needed a back drop for the 5 meter stand they’d booked so we created this 5 meter pop up display system. t’s actually two 3m curved pop ups with a central connecting piece which allows a number of formats for the stand – a large semi circular display, the ‘w’ shape you can see in these images and also an ‘s’ shape. The use of two large images on the pop up had the desired impact and the stand was well attended receiving a positive response from all the visitors.

David Lloyd George Exhibition

The 150th Anniversary of the birth of David Lloyd George Exhibition opened on 16 January 2013 at the Pierhead Building in Cardiff Bay.

The exhibition contains information about David Lloyd George, the most successful Welsh politician of all. The exhibition was curated by Dan Peterson (Creative Director, Petersens Design) and designed by Petersens Design and was put together for The Lloyd George Society and Museum.  Petersens Design worked with The Lloyd George Society, William Powell AM (exhibition sponsor), and the National Assembly. There is a collection of political posters and a collection of cartoons by J. M. Staniforth on display along with a group of original portraits drawn by Dan Peterson as well as some political reportage illustration.

The launch was well attended by Assembly Members and Ministers and by representatives of the media – television and press. It was well received with many positive comments. The brief was to ensure that in this anniversary year, Lloyd George’s memory is highlighted and his profile raised.

Some comments from the visitors book:

GORWEL website

Gorwel needed a website design that could act as a hub for their reports and statements and allow readers to comment and add to the debate. The site is still in production.

Gorwel – Welsh Foundation for Innovation in Public Affairs

Gorwel – a Welsh word that translates as Horizon. Gorwel is The Welsh Foundation for Innovation in Public Affairs. A new independent non-party political think tank for Wales. They wanted a brand identity that was contemporary but had a connection to the origins of Wales and Welsh culture. The semi circle graphic represents the horizon and the globe and the interconnecting, almost concentric circles, emphasise these same symbolism. The sun like shape highlights the concept of idea and thought whilst at the same time the linking circles are a reference to culturally relevant patterns.

JEKS Associates – Branding

JEKS Associates – A newly established Project Management company approached us for a simple but effective brand identity. A logo design that used the name of the company was what they were after. They were more than happy with the arrow icon that emerged form the letters of their company name. It tied in nicely with the aims and ambitions they have for the company.
