Gorwel – a Welsh word that translates as Horizon. Gorwel is The Welsh Foundation for Innovation in Public Affairs. A new independent non-party political think tank for Wales. They wanted a brand identity that was contemporary but had a connection to the origins of Wales and Welsh culture. The semi circle graphic represents the horizon and the globe and the interconnecting, almost concentric circles, emphasise these same symbolism. The sun like shape highlights the concept of idea and thought whilst at the same time the linking circles are a reference to culturally relevant patterns.
JEKS Associates – A newly established Project Management company approached us for a simple but effective brand identity. A logo design that used the name of the company was what they were after. They were more than happy with the arrow icon that emerged form the letters of their company name. It tied in nicely with the aims and ambitions they have for the company.
Kingswood Associates – Commercial Finance Specialists based in London and Cardiff. Design – Advertising campaign to highlight Kingswood’s mortgage brokerage services.
ROTI – Indian Street Food Kitchen. A new concept in urban street food situated on North Road in Cardiff. We were involved in all aspects of this project – branding and logo design, menus, display and signage, press advertising and leaflets. To give the work an urban feel we produced a reportage style illustration for the menus and used urban textures and authentic vivid colours throughout.
Whizz-Kidz – A charity raising awareness of, and money for, children who need specialist wheelchairs and equipment to aid them with their mobility and to allow them to function on more equal terms within society. Whizz-Kidz asked us to develop a fundraising pack specifically aimed at students studying for the Welsh Baccalaureate who, as part of the qualification, need to take on a project within the community. The pack contained various elements such as leaflets, case study sheets, fundraising ideas, sponsor forms and marketing advice.
Juboraj Restaurant Group – advertising campaign – the Juboraj needed a campaign to encourage trade in the usually quiet period that follows Christmas. We came up with the January Sale and tied in a VAT free offer to entice diners out of the cold.
www.sportchart.co.uk – Design – a complex wall chart designed using fully amendable tables that shows all major sporting events in the UK. We also put together the basic online shop where the wall planner sold very succesfully.
John Burn – Design – adverts to push their 3D Printing technology as part of a strategic marketing campaign using industry specific publications.
John Burn – unique in that not only does it have one of the most comprehensive stocks of Epoxies and Polyurethane Resins, tooling and modelling boards but it also stocks a wide range of consumables and ancillaries to complement these products. Design – John Burn wanted to continue with the macro photography approach we’d previously taken, but also wanted to highlight their client base. Some creative art direction during the photography shoot achieved the aim.
